Cor won "Best of Show" in the yearly Underwater Images contest. This is the first time one of us won a Best of Show and came as a big surprise. The image shows a lizardfish being cleaned by a small goby.

Julie won an award in the Australasia Scuba Diver magazine contest winning a nice liveaboard prize. The image shows a small banded pipefish.

The holy grail of underwater photography. Julie had a price in the Antibes Contest in 2007. The price was called 'Apnea "Best image of apneist"'.

Cor had an honorable mention in Beneath the Sea 2007 contest. All contest winners can be seen here.

Julie also won a 3rd place at the same time as Cor, this one in the Our World Underwater competition run by Wetpixel and Divephotoguide. It must be pretty rare that a couple places in the same contest.

Cor won a 3rd place in the Deep Indonesia contest run by Wetpixel and Divephotoguide. This is the second year in a row that Cor won a price in that contest.

In 2005 we started to enter one or two competitions a year. It's not a major undertaking for us as it takes a lot of time. But Julie won the 2nd prize in the 2005 EPIC competition straight away.

Cor has an honorable mention in the 2005 Underwater Images contest. The image is named Michelle and shows one of the managers of the Bilikiki posing in Leru Cut in the Solomon Islands.

We're very excited to learn that Cor has placed second in the Our World Underwater competition. The image is in the Wide Angle category and is of a soft coral in a mangrove forest.
